    Do I require any database for running Patch Connect Plus?

    Pach Connect Plus comes with an in-built Postgres SQL database. You do not require to have any database separately.

    When will patches get published/synchronized?

    Patch Publish/Sync will happen based on the scheduled time. After every successful sync, only the new or revised patches will be published.

    How do I publish patches of languages suitable for my environment?

    What happens during the synchronization process?

The minimum hardware requirements for Patch Connect Plus installation machine includes the following:

  • Processor Information - Intel Core i3 (2 core/4 thread) 2.0 Ghz 3 MB cache
  • RAM Size - 2 GB
  • Hard Disk Space - 10 GB
  • System version - only 64 bit machine

Software Requirements for Patch Connect Plus 

Patch Connect Plus can be installed on the machine with the following software requirement:

  • It can be installed on the machine where WSUS server is installed or the machine should contain WSUS admin console which is compatible with the primary WSUS server version.

    Note: Ensure that the WSUS server is of version 3.0 SP2 with WSUS-KB2720211 installed.
